Jillian Dowd grew up in Chicago. Her interest in wine began when she studied abroad as an art student in Florence, Italy. Jillian's favorite wine regions are Champagne, Burgundy, Russian River, and Piedmont.

She enjoys the outdoors, especially biking on the lakefront and Damen Avenue in Chicago. Jillian consistently continues to learn more about history, geography, language, agriculture, ecology, tradition, politics, and economics (just to name a few!).

Jillian joined Novovino in March 2007.
