
Bodega Cicchitti was founded in 1882 by José Antonio Cicchitti. The winery is owned by Pepe Cicchitti and it is located close to the city of Mendoza. All of the wines are produced from the estate’s 178 acres of vines. All grapes are handpicked from selected vineyards in Angelo, Vista Flores, Barrancas and Rodeo de la Cruz, and undergo fermentation with native yeasts, and are bottled unfined and unfiltered. The fermentation takes place in small concrete tanks followed by malolactic fermentation in American and French oak casks. José Cicchitti, the winemaker manages to keep a surprising low profile in spite of the high quality of his wines.
