Domaine de Rocfontaine is situated in the village of Pernay, and it is owned by Bougreau family for three generations. It is composed of 13.5 hectares of vines split up into 20 parcels. Each parcel is separately vinified in little vats of 50 or 60 hl to preserve the parcel character until the blending. Since 1987, Philippe Bougreau is running the business and increasingly becoming one of the leading wine producers in the Saumur community. 100% of the harvest is done per hand, destemming and sorting out the berries is done with care.
