Domaine le Garrigon was started wine-making in Tulette (Drôme provençale) in 1919. Today, Garrigon domaine spreads over 200 acres (80 hectares) from Tulette to Visan. They make AOC, Côtes du Rhône, as well as Rhône villages wines. The grape vine has been cultivated organically since 1997, without any yeast or enzyme, animal product, weed-killer, pesticide, thus respecting both nature and human-beings. Under the watchful eye of his sister, Marie-Francoise, Daniel Couston has developed a range of wines of matchless fruitiness, evoking especially the flavours of red and black fruits. Here one detects the spiciness of the Syrah, the peppery Grenache, the coffee in the Mourvedre and the liquorice of the Carignan.
