Fattoria La Magia is run by the Schwarz family, originally from South Tyrol, who give great importance to natural viticulture, avoiding the use of chemical substances either on the vines or in the soil.

The result is a stronger vine, healthier soil and a lower quantity production.  The estate owns 52 hectares, 16 of which are dedicated to a highly specialized vineyard.  La Magia, already one of the finest Brunello estates, has improved dramatically since Roberto Cipresso took over the winemaking chores in 1999.  Besides his own La Fiorita estate, Roberto is active as consulting winemaker at Ciacci Piccolomini, Felline (Apulia), and Achaval-Ferrer in Argentina, just to name a few.
