The philosophy of quality over quantity, respect for the land and respect for the winemaking traditions we have inherited from our forefathers is recognizable anywhere, from Sicily to Burgundy, and even in this tiny corner of Mendoza in Cruz de Piedra, in the modern, clean winery in an old barn used by Familia Marguery. This is a family operation, run by the current generation of the Marguery family, who seek to express a lifestyle, inherited from their ancestors, with a focus on responsibility and a passion for great wine and their work. The high quality grapes are obtained (by long-term relationship with the grower) from vineyards in La Consulta, San Carlos (Tupungato Valley), and the Vistalba Valley. The harvest is by hand, in 16-kilogram boxes, with great care taken that the grapes remain clean, fresh and healthy when they arrive at the winery to begin their journey under the famous hand of winemaker Pedro Rosell. Rosell, an eminence gris of Argentine winemakers, is also a professor of oenology, and leaves his magical imprint on any wine he makes.
