Azienda Agricola Mastrojanni founded in 1976, cultivates a little more than 44 acres of vineyards. Along with a handful of native families committed since early XX century to the making of authentic Brunello di Montalcino (such as Biondi-Santi, Talenti, Lisini and Costanti) Mastrojanni embodies the illustrious Old Guard in the history of Montalcino. All estate vineyards are situated in between Sant’Angelo in Colle and Castelnuovo dell’Abate (southern Montalcino), a limited area regarded by connoisseurs as the cradle of the greatest Brunello of all. All wines age in 100% Slavonian oak casks of variable capacity (from 15 to 50 Hl.).
