We founded Four Bears Winery and Sean Minor Wines in 2005 for a number of reasons. First and foremost, we wanted to make delicious, quality wines that continually exceed your expectations. We are all about family and we named our business for our four children: Nick, Elle, Jack and Charlie. Starting our own winery is both a professional and personal dream. Not long after Nicole and I were married, we discovered that our second largest monthly expense was wine. Our friend and wine consultant Will Bucklin is our winemaker. Will and Sean first met while working side-by-side at King Estate Winery, Oregon. Will led the winemaking efforts and Sean led the operations as General Manager, and together they also developed a friendship. 4 Bears Winery is a family business created to produce wines that consistently exceed customer’s expectations in terms of quality and price from vintage to vintage.
