Trabucchi is located in Val d’Illasi, the easternmost part of Valpolicella, at the edge of the Soave Classico appellation.  The 23 hectares of estate vineyards and olive tree, stretch throughout the slopes of the San Colombano hill.  Trabucchi story has started in year 1925 when ancestor Marco Trabucchi purchased the actual estate and the first plot of vineyards.  The domain was then inherited by Alberto, a well recognized lawyer, who later passed it to Giuseppe, a lawyer himself, who is currently leading winery with passion and dedication to enhance the relevance and the quality of the family wine production.  Recently, well-regarded Italian enologist Franco Bernabei was hired to further improve the consistency and quality of estate-bottled wines.
