Located in Eguisheim, the cradle of Alsatian winemaking, Paul Zinck has established a special place in this region. This father and son due have found, in essence, a balance in winemaking, between traditional craftsmanship and the contributions of new techniques. Since its founding in 1964, the winery has continually improved and modernized its equipment as well as the quality of its output, all the while remaining firmly committed to the values of a family business. Today, Paul Zinck produces quality wines whose character is enhanced by the pure vinification process. In 2002 a new line of Grand Crus made its first appearance in a catalogue already rich with its other ranges of wines. The young and dynamic winemaker, Philippe Zinck, has developed a modern approach to his family estate, using grapes selected from the best limestone vineyards around the town of Eguisheim, to give pure varietal character.
