Hilary Sargent grew up in Seattle. Her interest in wine stemmed from her family’s travels to wine producing countries through high school and college, in addition to her time spent living in Europe for study abroad. She is a graduate of the University of Denver’s Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management program. Prior to Novovino, Hilary worked in sales for Marriott International. In 2012 she moved to Napa to study wine at the Culinary Institute in St. Helena. Hilary has completed the first levels of both the Court of Master Sommeliers and International Sommelier Guild. Her favorite wine regions are Piedmont and Champagne.

Hilary enjoys traveling, cooking, playing golf, watching hockey and exploring the restaurant scene in Chicago.  She also serves on the Associates Board of the University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation.

Hilary joined Novovino in October of 2013.
