Hailing originally from Grand Rapids Michigan, Jordyn studied the Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management before moving to Chicago in 2010 to pursue the world of fine dining. She found her calling in wine when she join the service team at Charlie Trotter's in 2011; the wine program lead by Ryan Stetins at the time, with Larry Stone's assistance in the final months before closing. Larry Stone told an overly romantic tale of Assyrtiko and the island of Santorini, and she quickly fell in love with cultural and historical aspects of the wine world. She began her studies with the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2012, and is currently preparing for the Advanced exam.
While her favorite wine regions brings her to the countries of Greece & Croatia, she is particularly excited to see what happens in the Niagara Peninsula and Finger Lakes AVA's in the years to come.
Jordyn most recently left her position as Beverage Director for MK Restaurant and joined the Novovino Team in April, 2016.
