The Joly family has been growing vines in the heart of the Champagne’s Côte-des-Bar region for over a century. In the early 1970s, Georges Joly and his sons created the Veuve Doussot brand, named in honor of his grandmother. Stephan and Sylvie Joly are very proud to continue this family winemaking history and to pursue the tradition of high quality set by their grandfather, father and uncles. The Joly family favors a reasoned and sustainable approach to viticulture, not totally organic but respecting the balance and traditions of the vineyard and keeping vine treatments to an absolute minimum. At Veuve Doussot, they strive to maintain their heritage with the highest quality wines that they can produce. Cultivating, picking, vinifying, blending: each step is done with the same passion, making each cuvée truly special. Every glass of Veuve Doussot Champagne generously rewards the patience and dedication needed to create a wines of such excellence.
