Located in the Grand Cru village of Cramant in the famed Côte des Blancs, Champagne Philippe Glavier produces small amounts of 100% Grand Cru Champagnes from a mere 4.4 hectares of vines. Philippe represents the third generation of growers in his family. His parents, growers and cooperator dedicated to their growth and work, have transmitted him an exceptional estate classified Grand Cru. Educated in Lycee d’Avize he has obtained a Diploma in agriculture, wine-growing and oenology (BTS). Véronique is also the heir of a precious family estate. Twelve generations of growers have preceded her, and have spent all their lives in the village of Monthelon. Bred in the daily work of the family estate, she had wished not to marry a grower ever. She obtained her business diploma (DUT) while managing few hectares coming from the long family tradition line. In 1993, Philippe and Véronique met and unified to create a new track. They had the will to manage the great estate they inherited and to create their own wine with the noble status of Independent grower. In 1995, in Cramant the Champagne Philippe Glavier was born.
