The estate is located 10 miles south-west of Siena. Tenuta di Trecciano’s 50 acres of vineyards are characterized by a unique red soil, and are planted to Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The vines find in the soil of the Montagnola Senese the ideal environment to best express their characteristics, and the surrounding hills protect the vineyards from extreme climatic conditions. The cellar of Trecciano succeeds in perfectly combining the respect for the antique traditions with the requirements of the modern wine-making techniques.
