Distributors of Fine Wine

An estate belonging to the Martin Paradela family, dedicated to raising beef cattle, began with their winemaking project in 1999. The estate is located in the province of Zamora, in the 15th century Abbey of San Juan de Becerril, where the River Douro flows into Portugal; a beautiful natural landscape. There is a 7 hectares vineyard planted with Tinta Fina and Pinot Noir, farmed manually with winter pruning, then green pruning, cluster thinning, and finally harvesting in 15 kg tubs. The vines are trained on high espaliers for optimal sun exposure and drip-irrigated to maintain just the right water stress for the best possible grape quality. In tune with their environmental principles, the vineyards are fertilised with manure from the local free-range cows. The winemaker is Ignacio de Miguel Poch, who has an impressive list of wineries where he has worked since 1989; (Cháteau Pavie, Marqués de Griñón).
