We knew about Michel Chapoutier’s success in the Rhône valley and he now proves that talent does not limits. The vineyards of the Bila-Haut estate are situated in the Vallée de l’Agly, Gneiss and schist of Dévonien. Made from Grenache, Syrah and old bush vine Carignan, the complexity of Bila-Haut wines reflects the diverse terroirs and the wind of the Midi. By meticulously hand harvesting the best grapes from the best vineyards of the Roussillon, Chapoutier has transferred his magic to the Bila-Haut estate and created wines with finesse. All vineyards are cultivated without the use of pesticides or herbicides.
