Cavas Valmar was founded in 1983, using the first three letters of the founders’ surnames: VALentin and MARtain. Since then, it has stood out for producing wines for Mexico and the United States, with limited production, tradition, and recognized quality. Cavas Valmar is a Mexican family-run company, pioneering and setting an example for leveraging the winemaking, gastronomic, and tourism vocation of the various valleys in Baja California. Wines are made with grapes from the Guadalupe and Tecate Valleys in Baja California. Vineyards are 15 and 30 years old, using a traditional Bordeaux winemaking style, resulting in unique and different products each year.
