Deurić Vinarija

Deurić Winery is located on the sunny, southern slopes of Fruška Gora, at an altitude of 250 m above sea level, in Mala Remeta, near the Vrdnik spa. Fruška Gora has always had great potential and an important role in Serbian viticulture, and in the last few years it has gained exceptional importance as one of the most important wine tourist destinations in the region. The exceptional position and natural characteristics, especially of the southeastern slopes of Fruška gora, have long been known and used. According to historical sources, the Roman emperor MA Probus, in the 3rd century AD, planted the first vineyards on its southeastern slopes in the belt of the former Sirmium. The Slavs transferred and continued the cultivation of vines, and the continuity was especially contributed by the Serbian medieval monasteries whose metos were the backbone of the preservation and duration of viticulture, cellaring and winemaking.

The vineyards of the Deurić winery cover 14 Ha. The linden tree forest, clean air, natural springs, lakes and rich soil, which surrounds the vineyards, are the basis for the production of quality wines. In the newly built winery, using exclusively grapes from their own vineyards, they produce wines of the highest quality with the expert consultation of an eminent team of oenologists from France.
