Set between the Venice lagoon and the Carnic Alps, in the province of Pordenone, the lush vineyards of this family-run estate testify to the long family tradition of over 200 years of passionate effort and endless love. The symbol of the stone pine presented on each bottle, the tree - used by the ancestors for the development of boats and palaces - highlights the family's highest respect for the rich fertility of the surroundings, as also officially recognized by the Italian Sustainability Certificate (SQNPI ) obtained in recognition of the viticultural techniques of integrated pest management adopted and for the respect for the environment demonstrated. The Elisabetta Cichellero Fracca company owes its history to the passionate work of a family of timber traders and landowners active in the north-east of Italy since the 15th century and who at the beginning of the 19th century decided to invest in various lands and real estate properties in the plain between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto, in order to facilitate the transport of timber from the lush forests of Cadore to the lagoon of the ancient Maritime Republic of Venice. This is a true family business. Mom Elisabetta is the head of the company, with her husband’s support and all three children involved in sales and winemaking parts.
