Fox Tales is a small project started in 2019 by two friends, by two winemakers: Leisha Munro and Stephen Tierney of Limestone Coast Wines. Grapes are primarily sourced from their vineyards across the Limestone Coast (especially Coonawarra), with some parcels from cooler parts of McLaren Vale. Vineyards are all organically tended but not certified (yet?). Born from the heart of their vineyard, Fox Tales is inspired by the clever and curious nature of the local foxes that roam the land. South Australia has a vast diversity in geography and climate which allows the state to be able to produce a range of grape varieties–from the cool climate Riesling variety in the Clare Valley wine region to the big, full bodied Shiraz wines of the Barossa Valley!
