The Pierre Legras House has a vineyard of 10 hectares (22 acres) among which 7 hectares of Chardonnay Grand Cru in the terroir of Chouilly – one of the villages of the Côte des Blancs, where we can find some of the most prestigious vineyards of Champagne.  Pierre Legras is the oldest ancestor of the Legras family, born in 1662.  He was contemporary of Louis XIV and Dom Pérignon, who was a winegrower in Chouilly.  Since then, it has been ten generations that the House passed from father to son, and the vineyard grown up in selecting the best Grand Cru terroirs of Chouilly, in the Marne.Today it is Vincent Legras - oenologist – who continues the story of the House.  The vine-growing is there well thought coordinated and a particular attention is taken to respect the environment in each day action.
