The Mir family has cultivated the Can Fox ("the House of the Fox") in Subirats since the 16th century. The family began making wine in 1776 and sold in bulk to other wine cellars. It was not until 1980 that the current owner (who represents the 17th generation) began bottling the wine under their own brand. Today in the 64 acres José Maria Rosell i Mir grows the following varieties: Xarel·Lo, Parellada, Macabeo, Grenache Blanc, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The productions of wines, of all varieties of grapes are fermented separately and the wine is produced with no hurries, allowing it to mature without additives and deliver it to every step necessary conditions.

With all of our experience, to this day, we produce honest clean wines that reflect the character of our land, and Caves in the tradition of Marc Mir, my great-grandfather, a pioneer in the fight against the phylloxera and
the establishment of Cava in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, form the vine to the bottle.
